Steve Streimer To Make PWC Debut with TechSport Racing at UMC

Huntington, NY – TechSport Racing is eager for the long trek to Utah for rounds 9 and 10 of the Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car Championships. Momentum is on their side as a championship hangs in the balance for current points leader PJ Groenke in the teams #25 TCB Chevrolet Sonic. Along with the teams Duet of TCB entries, for only the Second time this season since the opening weekend COTA, TechSport will have all 3 of its TCA class Mazda Mx-5 machines in action at UTAH. The Teams Lead Driver Eric Powell remains in the #23 Mazda and is extremely hungry for his first victory. Powell has 4 podiums, 2 fastest laps and a pole this year unfortunately along with some bad luck. “Expect no less than a win from me for the rest of the season, that’s all I care about as are championship hopes have pretty much washed away. I’ll do whatever it takes” says Powell. Kevin Anderson is also excited about getting back into his #22 Mazda and looks to return to the podium after two podium finishes this season. Driving the #21 machine team newcomer and Trans-Am regular Steve Streimer. “Steve is an experienced driver currently racing a Dodge Viper in the Trans Am series. I am really excited to finally have Steve driving one of my cars, it has been in discussion for a long time now. I am fully confident in Steve’s ability to be competitive.” said Kevin Anderson.
