15-Car TC America, TC Class Field Entered for Watkins Glen International Weekend

TC Protagonists Schwartz and Grahovec set to Duel Again at The Glen

The two main protagonists in the TC class driver’s championship dueled at Portland International Raceway and Rooster Hall Racing’s Johan Schwartz, driver of the #80 BMW M240iR Cup came out on top winning both races over Classic BMW driver Toby Grahovec in the #26 BMW M240iR Cup. Schwartz now holds a 41-point lead entering the Watkins Glen weekend, but don’t count out the former 2016 TC Driver’s Champion Grahovec who is looking for his first win of the season and will most surely battle Schwartz again for the top step at Watkins Glen.

Schwartz’ teammate Steve Streimer is set to pilot the #81 Rooster Hall Racing BMW M240iR Cup – he sits fifth in the standings entering the weekend. Rooster Hall Racing also has the #84 BMW M240iR Cup entered for Richard Zulman. Grahovec’s Classic BMW teammate Jacob Ruud will pilot the #810 BMW M240iR Cup.

Auto Technic Racing’s Robert Nimkoff enters the weekend third in the driver’s standings and will look to spoil the party for Schwartz and Grahovec. He’ll pilot the #20 BMW M240iR Cup. Auto Technic Racing also brings their #52 BMW M240iR Cup for Tom Capizzi, who sits 8th in the driver’s standings and the #21 BMW M240iR Cup for Mark Brummond.

Cameron Evans comes into the weekend fourth in the driver’s standings and will drive the #82 Copart / BimmerWorld Racing BMW M240iR Cup. He will team with Chandler Hull who will race the #94 BMW M240iR Cup – Hull sits sixth in the standings.

Rearden Racing’s Paul Terry is entered to run the #33 Nissan 370z, while Jeff Ricca is set to drive the #78 GenRacer Hyundai Genesis Coupe – the two drivers round out the two remaining spots in the top 10 in the driver’s championship standings entering the weekend.

Completing the 15-car TC field is the Dynamic Racing Solutions #06 BMW M235iR Cup for Hanna Zellers, the Dynamic Racing Solutions #09 BMW M240iR Cup for Greg Nitzkowski, and the #23 TechSport Racing Nissan 370z for Joseph Federl.
